Giant Oak’s flagship GOST product to help identify vulnerabilities in membership screening

ARLINGTON, Va. –– Giant Oak, a leader in the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning for the regulatory and security needs of business and government, today announced its strategic partnership with #NatSecGirlSquad. #NatSecGirlSquad is an organization dedicated to building competent diversity in national security and defense enterprises. By integrating GOST® into the #NatSecGirlSquad membership platform, Herd Mentality, the organization will have the tools to screen new members in an efficient, safe, and accurate way, while also protecting their privacy.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Giant Oak team on the continued execution of the Herd Mentality platform. Enforcement of #NatSecGirlSquad’s Code of Conduct and commitment to ensuring all members are who they say they are and do not pose a measurable risk to the safety, security, and privacy to the community were core requirements in the development of the portal and app. Deploying GOST enables our team to efficiently review publicly available information, confirm join requests, and securely onboard members in a way that proactively supports our community values,” said Maggie Feldman-Piltch, founder and CEO of Unicorn Strategies, an innovative human capital management firm widely known for its project, #NatSecGirlSquad.

Used by #NatSecGirlSquad to screen for vulnerabilities before receiving access to its digital platform, Herd Mentality, GOST is a machine learning-based platform that organizes information to confirm identities and behaviors to determine eligibility for various benefits.. GOST re-indexes the open and deep webs to return publicly available electronic information (PAEI) prioritized to meet Herd Mentality requirements.

“Screening should be fast, easy, and reveal important unknown risks. We’re happy to make GOST available to the incredible team at #NatSecGirlSquad, an organization that does so much to promote diversity in the security and defense communities,” said Gary M. Shiffman, PhD, founder and CEO of Giant Oak.
