by Virginia Business, on Feb 6, 2019 4:27:38 PM

An Arlington County-based company whose technology searches the deep web to identify threats to government and commercial clients is moving into bigger digs.

The company, which now employs 15 to  20 people, will almost double its employee count as it expands. It recently moved to 1515 N. Courthouse Road in an office that is about 5,000 square feet to handle the anticipated growth.

Giant Oak recently received a $10 million equity investment from Edison Partners in Princeton, N.J.

The company is known for its GOST (Giant Oak Search Technology), a behavioral science-based technology that screens and continuously monitors the dark web.

GOST helps clients identify and act on threats.
